Project Summary
This is an integrated project which covered all of our areas of expertise: branding, website design and management and communication strategy. We designed the visual identity, built the website and created an engaging and growing online community which we currently manage.
BRAnding
Our goal was to create a logo that would stand out in the automotive world, avoiding at all costs the visual cliches in this domain.
Web Design
Emoticar's content is highly visual, so the layout and speed optimization were important aspects. The sidebar was also an important element.
SPONSORSHIP
PRESENTATION
PRESENTATION
A business-oriented visual story of Emoticar's activity in motorsport.

Visual Brand
The visual identity had to reflect the brand's personality: fun, feminine, fresh, courageous - a content which is professionally written, yet easy to understand by people who are not involved in the automotive and motorsport areas.
This is why we chose a less typical logo - a frontal view of a car, in a minimalistic representation, rather than a lateral view which bluntly suggests speed. This was our subtle way of suggesting the fact that Emoticar puts its reader face-to-face with the stories about cars, people and adventures, in a honest, down-to-earth manner.
In the same stylistic manner we produced flat-design illustration for each post category of the blog, constructing the basis for a special visual automotive story, unique in its domain.
The color palette is soft, thus making the stories become the power element of the blog.

Web Design
The home page needed to offer the reader a lot of information in just a glimpse: the author, the subjects of interest, events, sponsors and collaborations and also social media links. A slider featuring the latest posts is used as the main element.
The sidebar is constantly changing, reflecting Cristiana's current activity.

SPONSORSHIP PRESENTATION
For this part of the project, we had to create a streamlined and comprehensive presentation dedicated to potential sponsors. The challenge was to make the main feature stand out - one of the few female rally crews in Romania - without using the regular cliches. Having a business-oriented structure, we chose not to use the illustrations found on Emoticar, emphasizing instead on motorsport photography.
ONLINE COMMUNITY
The gender statistics are highly relevant for Emoticar because this is usually a male-dominated sector, when in comes to both readers and authors. Cristiana managed to attract in Emoticar's community more women than other similar blogs, 32% of her readers being women. The goal for 2018 is to increase this value to 50%.
